I'd like to correspond with anyone who has information theses two individuals. Samuel Super Bond was born in Upper Darby, Delaware Co., PA to Jesse E. Bond a schiool teacher and noted mathmetician, and Elizabeth Kirk Super on July 18, 1834. He lived for a time in the early 1850s in the Kensington section of Philadelphia where he was a druggist. On June 18, 1854, he was married to Susanna Marjoram (b. abt. June 1838) of Keningston, daughter of Samuel Margerum, a carter. Susanna's sister was Sallie A. Margerum, who married Wiiliam C. Wolf in 1864. Sanuel Bond enlisted in the 8th Pa. Cavalry as a Hospital Steward. He served at Gettysburg, where his wife came down to assist him. He earned his M.D. from Georgetown University and pracrticed in Washington, D.C. from 1865 until his death on July 4, 1899. I'm interested in anything you might have on the Margerum family, or on Dr. Bond. Thanks.
