Yes, I thought it may have been your mother - at that stage your grandmother was alive - is she still?
You don't mention it, but are you interested in researching more of the Marjoram family, or receiving information on them, as I have a lot here, through what I have researched, others in NSW to whom you are connected through Robert's marriage to Elizabeth Blackman, plus his first family with Lydia Moss, another child with another lady in between the two, plus bits and pieces about his trial in England (he was lucky he was not also sent out as a convict, although that may have been his intention, as many families got a free trip to Australia this way where conditions were better than in the UK at that time) and all the trial papers for Robert and William done by a local history researcher in Suffolk, to whom we are all deeply indebted.
We also have a pretty fair idea of Jeremiah's parents, and their ancestors, which takes us back to the early 1600s. This research I did here, and confirmed it with those in Suffolk.
If you wish to contact me about the above, please email at
firstname.lastname@example.org All that is asked is that you contribute whatever knowledge you have on the family to the pool, and acknowledge by name those who have put in so much time and effort to make this interesting family story, should you wish to share it with your family.
