I have some information in my book on the Henry Marley pair (Henry and is grandson Henry).
"On November 29, 1838, papers were filed in Lawrence County, Indiana, appointed George Chapman as
Administratorfor the estate of Henry Marley.George was the husband of Elizabeth (Marley) Chapeman, daughter of Henry and Jane."The papers for this are filed in Box 7, File 18 in Lawrence County.
Now grandson Henry."On August 28, 1880, Henry executed a deed for property on Stoney Fork Creek adjoining Ferguson's line in Wilkes County, to George, William, Martha, Sara, and Mary Marley."This was 270 acres and the cost was $400.His wife Jane was not mentioned so???This could be "assumed" to mean that Jane no linger existed???
The greatgrandson of Henry Marley left this note:"My grandfather on my fathers side was Henry Marley from Wilkes County, NC.My greatgrandmother was Jane Bray.
She married him during the Revolutionary War and ran bullets for the Battle ofBradsford."
My census records track the older Henry from 1899 t0 1830, age 70-80 in Lawrence County .
On Anna and Jesse I have the name of only one daughter, Elizabeth. She married Benjamin Franklin Blevins Aug. 1852 in Martin Co., IN.
Hope the above is not too long winded and confusing.
