Pasquale Marrese; Craco, Italy - Jersey

I am looking for more information on my great-grandfather who was born about 1844 in Craco, Basilicata, Italy and died about 1914 in Jersey City, New Jersey. His wife's name was Maria and they had 4 children; my grandfather, Vincent (Vincenzo) Daniel, Joseph (Guisseppe), Peter (Pietro?), and Maria. I have found a Pasquale Marrese on ship records from Italy to New York and wonder how common a name that may be. Did he have brothers or other family that came over with him? Any information?
