I am researching the Marrigan Family. I have a Mary Ann Marrigan born in 1848, she married Luke Murphy in 1876.
She had a sister Bridget Marrigan who was married to a Corporal James McGrath. She died in 1874 in Poonah, India.
The rest of the Marrigan family that I am researching are all descendants of John Marrigan Sr. (1818 - 1907). He was born in the Town of Tallow, County Waterford, Ireland and died in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He spent many years in Frampton Quebec and then eventually settled in Deseronto, Ontario, Canada. He was married to Catherine Thomas. He had 9 children. He is my great-great-great grandfather. I have alot more information about his family that I found in a notebook left by him. I do not know if he had brothers or sisters.
