Hi:
Just in case, I am telling this story.
My Great Grandfather was born around 1853 in Napoli, his name was Marotta, legend says that he left sons back at Italy, and that he may have traveled to america with a brother and possible with a sister.
Until his death around 1936, he kept calling to "Rosa Emilia", possibly a daughter, her spouse or a sister.
He went to the Dominican Republic possibly at 30 on 1880.
