Hello !!
I'm interested in finding out what ship my
gr-grandfather may have came over here on,
from Germany. He arrived here in Kansas circa
1869, previously having been in Buffalo, New
York, cause his wife was born there. Her mother was from Germany also.
He had a brother named CHRISTIAN MARTEN,
whom we believe is buried in the same cemetery as Fredrick. We have copies of the
family bible, which is in possession of another relative, but its hard to decipher
the language and writings. Anyone whom could
help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks !!!
Rowena Marten
