Pennie and Robert,

Per your post, Martin Family Genealogy Forum.

You mention West Virginia MARTINS.
I have been trying to find my West Virginia MARTINS, and trying to make a connection to the MARTIN line.

My Great Grandmother is Mary Margaret "Maggie" MARTIN,born 1869, died Jan 1928/29 Bramwell, WVa. married to (1) John Leander HARRIS who died 1904. (2) Harold Hyter CRABTREE, born 1856/57 died 1918. (3) MOSLEY
She is the daughter of James H. MARTIN, 1841-April 9, 1841, West Virginia, and ??Sarah Jane STOOTS ??, 1843-1900.

What I have is:
William Patton MARTIN, married Margaret.
married Sparks MARTIN, July 1833, Patrick, Va.,
Their Children: (1) James H. MARTIN, 1841. Married Sarah Jane STOOTS
(2) Leonard MARTIN
(3) Carl MARTIN
James H. MARTIN, 1841, and Sara Jane STOOTS, 1843-1900 had
CHILDREN: (1) Mary Margaret "Maggie" MARTIN, 1869, Russell Co., Va., died 1929 Bramwell, W.Va.,
(2) William Leanard MARTIN
(3) Katie MARTIN
Hope someone somewhere can connect these to some line.
Any information or suggestions are appreciated.

Betty Crabtree
