Elder Elijah Martindale's family Bible records
Elder Elijah Martindale 1793-1874 was a tireless evangelist in Indiana. Below is a transcription made by my mother in 1994 ofthe family records in his Bible . The writing was hard to read, so there may well be errors. The Bible itself is not currently accessible for further review.
"The profit Daniel was one of those faithful men whom God raised up and miraculously raised and supported in times of the greatest and most fearful trials. These things are written for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope."March 14, 1854E. Martindale
