Hi,
My grandmother Miriam Martinez grew up with 11 brothers and sisters in Heredia. From what I've heard, I think her mother's name was Ada or Aida, and her father was (I think) Rafael Martinez. But she's told me before that he was a band leader or a musician there in costa rica for a while. I think 2 of her sisters are Virginia and the other Cecilia. Cecilia has 2 kids who are/were musicians in Europe. If anyone has anyone info I'd be greatly appreciative as I'm heading to Costa Rica this winter to track down any distant family I may have there.
