Christine Regina Maruska was born in Breckenridge, Wilkin, MN January 1, 1888, daughter of Albert Maruska and Anna Rose Sedivy. As a young woman she came to the White Earth area with her parents. She was married in Detroit Lakes to Anton Roland Molacek November 13 , 1912. Since then they resided on a farm in Riceville township. They had eight sons and five daughters, Joseph, Howard, Millard, and Mrs. Vincent (Nydia) Lefebvre, Raymond, Anthony, David, Virgil and Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Herberg, Mrs. Henry (Viola) Boatman,Mrs. Louis (Rosalyce) Hoppa, Mrs. Roger (Margaret) Savig.
Christine had five brothers and four sisters, Edward, Raymond, and Leonard, Archie, Gilbert, Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Novacek, Mrs. Frank (Marie ) Trupa, Mrs. J J (Emma) Molacek and Mrs. Frank (Letha) Peterka.
