Well, it doesn't sound like we are related bloodwise. But, there is definetly a connection, I would say. According to my family tree, Marcus Roberts m. Ella Royston 1883, they had Clair Roberts (born March 1894) who married Leland Masoner(died 1964). They then had, Marcus Yuban Masoner, Leland Marguerite Masoner, Elsie Masoner. Ella (Royston) Roberts and Marcus Roberts are buried in Ridgely Cemetery, Mo. I just returned from seeing their graves. I would be happy to send you what I have on that family. Sounds to me like Daniel or Jesse had a brother or cousin named Leland.
