Salut Dominique,

I have my family tree back to 1690 to a Simon Massad. My ancestor George Massad had a son in 1790 named Joseph. Ofcourse Joseph is a very common name. But it is possible that our families diverged from arould or before the 1600's. Go to massadfamily.com for more info.
