My father was Najeeb Massaed (Mussaed). The family was from Turbol. There were four brothers--two came to this country and two remained in (Syria)Lebanon. The two brothers that came to the U.S. changed their name to Kalil, which was their father's first name, because of the confusion in the spelling and the pronunciation. Their are still a lot of relatives living in Lebanon.
