I'm looking for the Matchett family also and I was always told that they lived in NJ, possibly around the Bordertown area, and then moved to Phildelphia.

My great grandparents were John Matchett (died December 1930, Phila, PA) and Isabella Johnson (died October 1948 Phila, PA). They had 2 children that I know of. Elsie Mae (b. 1899 in NJ or PA, died 1965, Phila, PA - married Harry McAdams) and Richard D. who went by the name of David (died July 1960 Phila, PA). I just found out that Uncle Dave had a son who lived in the Pittsburg area in the 1960's and he had 3 or 4 children at that time.

Perhaps your Richard Matchett and Mary Cole could be the same family.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
