Hi,

I just found your posting asking about a Mary Jane Matchett marrying a John Gilbert.

I am off of a family line with a Jane Matchett and a John Gilbert. The Jane Matchet and John Gilbert that I am off of had a bunch of children one of them was a Thomas Gilbert. However the date of birth that I have for Thomas Gilbert is: About 1874. But I thought he was born in Canada.

My John and Jane Gilbert were in England or Canada and then came to Wisconsin. They are buried in Wisconsin, in Brighton Marathon County, in a small cemetary, there is a small road that goes off of hyway 13, and the cemetary is just a little ways off the highway. The date of death that I have for John Gilbert is:November 14, 1896 and I have that Jane died: January 13, 1897.

Does any of this sound familar to you?

I hope we can match our lines up

Sincerely,

Davette
