It has been a few years since we last communicated
My GGG Grandfather was William Matchett (labourer) and his oldest son was Isaac. Isaac married Mary Jane Hamilton at Hillhall Presbyterian church on Oct 26 1860 and a year later moved to Canada At the time of their marriage the certificate mentions MJ hamilton was living in Drumbeg (father a farmer named James Hamilton) and Isaac was living in Hillhall. Rev Samual Dunlop performed the wedding cerimony and it was witnessed by Samual Hamilton.
I would be interested in any more information you have on the area and your family roots
look forward to hearing from you
Tom White (Mother is a Matchett as was my father's mother)
