Hi Ruth,
I'm also looking for details of a Moses Matchett, it may be the one that married Margaret Donley but I think there were 2 Moses Matchetts around the same time and I'm not sure which one is mine!!

My g.g.g.grandfather William James Matchett was born around 1861/1862 (he was 49 on the 1911 census and listed as born in Belfast). I have a copy of his marriage certificate (21/07/1880) which lists his father as Moses Matchett.
The family story is that our Matchetts were originally from the Birches in Co Armagh, so we think that it must have been Moses Matchett who moved from the Birches to Belfast, sometime before 1861.

I haven't been able to locate any details of children for either Moses, that would at least let me know which one is right! Do you have any info on the family of Moses and Margaret?

Lucy
