hi Darla - I am a Matchett from Newcastle (now Miramichi), NB so beleive that William is probably in my family tree way back. My father is Dana Matchett who was the son of Edward & Mabel Matchett....all from Sunny Corner. Do you happen to have info back beyond my grandparents linking them up to William?

As well, were you ever able to find out more info on who William Matchett's family was in Ireland?

Thanks so much for any info.
