Dear Emily,
I am researching the Mathers Family Tree.
My Great Grandfather came out to New Zealand from Ireland in 1874.
I have traced his fathers side back to Ireland. The name was Dynes. Now I am trying to trace his mothers side. Her name was Elizabeth Mathers, born in Ireland, no date, died in Ireland, 1860, aged only 23. She left two young children, My G.Grandfather, William, and his sister, Maria. Her husband was Francis Dynes.
I think her father was John Henry Mathers.
I haven't been able to come up with anything until I came across your Family Genealogy Forum.
Thought you might know if any of your Mathers had come from Ireland.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards Erin Davie,
From down under in New Zealand.
Happy New Year.
