LEE . . . There does not appear to be enough information yet, to draw any conclusions. The time frame is right. Do you know what your William's profession was, and where he might have lived? You may be able to learn more posting on a message board in England. Over the years, the English have kept very complete records. Locating the port of immigration will also provide a lot of information. We have found it very difficult to locate the William we are looking for. Newly found family members in southern California think the William we are looking for was in New York for a while, and was an importer of perfumes and oils. Have nothing to confirm that. -- PHIL MYERS
