Hi,
Francis M. Mathers enlisted in the Unitied States Signal Corps at Kingston, Pennsylvannia on October 16th. 1863. This information was taken from page 823 of the 200+ page roster in Joseph Willard Brown's "History of the Signal Corps in the War of the Rebellion" 1896 reprinted 1996 by the Signal Corps Association Reenactors' Division (SCARD)
Does anyone know any more information on this gentleman, his descendants or perhaps even just his final resting place? I had read somewhere that he may have lived in Mount Holly or Mount Holly Springs, Penna.
Tnx Walt Mathers <w.mthers@juno.com>
