henry mathers of pennsylvania
Posted by: norman mathers (ID *****7574) Date: September 26, 2004 at 15:13:52

i am norman w. mathers from garner north carolina usa
my dad was norman h mathers from parkhill ontario middlesex county ontario canada. my grandpa was orn mathers from parkhill ontario middlesex county.

my dad told me that my great great grandfather was henry mathers born in pennsylvania.

aaron was supposedly the dad of my grandpa orn mathers
who married martha windsor from kincardine

i note that henry j mathers and aaron mathers were the same age they were both born in 1843. they were twins. since they were born in same year this deducation makes sense

mathers is of scot descendant however henry mathers sr. was in armagh in northern ireland born in 1813 and came to the usa because of the failing economy

who was henry mathers' seniors dad from scotalnd en route to america via ireland.

unless henry aaron was grandpa orns dad and henry joseph was the father.

it might seem logical to leave the usa for ontario given the civil war although henry g should be henry joseph did serve in the war 3 years and was discharged in 1864 from a disability. maybe tired of having to rebuild everything then they moved to canada. perhaps henry joseph the dad stayed in pa while the twins came to ontario canada
