Thomas lives next door to Stephen Mathers b 1836, that is his son who married Drusilla Tully (her name is spelled a myriad of ways). They had at least two children in the 1870 census: Anna J b 1866 and Andrew W. b 1869.

Sometime between 1870 and 1885, Drusilla must have died, because Stephen disappeared off of any census records and then he remarried to Isabella Green who filed for CSA Widow's pension in 1903. Stephen died in 1891.

I believe that the Mary that lives with Thomas on that 1860 census is his daughter.

I am looking for documentation of Thomas and his travels as well as his Dad which I believe is William Henry Mathers Sr.
