I just came across your post. I'm descended from (H)Esther Matlack and Jonathan French.Here is what I've found:

Notes for FRANCIS FRENCH:
Francis French was disowned by the Friend's society for failure to attend meetings, military activities and "outgoing" marriage 8/7/1789.An "outgoing" marriage was apparently a marriage to an individual outside the Quaker community.
Francis was a house carpenter and there are no complete records of his family outside first names mentioned in his will.His heirs included children of Sarah French Roberts, deceased and children of Esther French White, deceased.

Richard's marriage was an "outgoing" marriage but he apologized for same. Registered his marriage and remained a Quaker as of 12/9/1791.
Richard was a prosperous businessman and brick maker.He lived on his 100 acre homestead located on White Horse pike near the present village of Kirkwood, Camden County, NJ.

Notes for JOSEPH FRENCH:
After his marriage in 1815, he engaged in the then infant fruit and shade tree business, establishing what was later to be known as the Fairview Nurseries, in West Moorestown, NJ.He prospered but died in 1825.He died instate so his father-in-law, Samuel Slim, administered his estate.His partner, John Perkins formed a partnership with Edward French and they bought the nurseries and conducted the business for many years.John Perkins married Anna Evans, granddaughter of Edward French.
Joseph's estate was valued at $2,200 at the time of his death.
Notes for CHRISTIANA SLIM:
this individual was known as Aunt Kitty.She lived to be 103 yrs of age.there is a picture of her at a family gathering for her 100th birthday.I also have a letter from her to her grandson, my great grandfather, Joseph French.
Aunt Kitty also gained celebrity by being the oldest person recorded in the history of Moorestown, NJ. On her 100th birthday 8/1/1894 the entire community united to celebrate. Church and fire bells were wrung, the local brass band furnished music and a great number of persons arrived from great distances to wish her well.She was healthy "as a horse and looked after her own interests. She made her will at age 92.she left her estate to her two living children and
gave each of her 9 grandchildren $50.
it is recorded that Christiana was born"on the sixth day of the week, about 3 o'clock in the morning."
