William F Matlack
Ok I know now that I'm looking for a william F matlack that was married to a Margaret Lewis and has several children of which were Stanley, Robert, Richard, vincent, and others. Here's a conversation...
• Hello, I am Stanley Matlack brother of Richard, Arthur, Robert and Vincent Matlack. I was in the foster homes and Orphanage, St. Michaels is correct, in New Jersey. Non of us were ADOPTED but were in foster homes, DeNola and Braun in New Jersey from about 11 to 17. Many things have been stated some not so correct. DeNola and Braun were good hard working people and gave us a loving home. The DeNolas', Nick was a Prize Finhter, fought under the name Kid Black and Nicky Ross many years back my foster father Nick was a good man as well as his wife Angie. Braun"s were also a good loving family and hard working.
Richard passed at age 45, Robert and myself are the only brothers left. When out father William F. Matlack died when I was about 4 or 5 we went in the Orphanage back home a few times and than in foster homes.
Robert was older and ran from the Orphanage, I would have ran also if I was old enough, not a nice place to be for any child. He joined the service at age 16 with fake ID and was sent to Korea. Years later I was in the service and also went to Korea.
I was born in Trenton New Jersey , I know I have lots of family somewhere but the way we were moved around, us kids just got lost in the shuffle .
This has been very interesting for me, good luck and god bless all of you.

Stanley Matlack Oh, one more thing that might hepl some of you.
My Father William F. Matlack was married to his 2nd wife, my mother, Margaret Lewis. he was about 80 years old when I was born and she was in her late 30's. By his first marriage he had a son, Bill Matlack, and a daughter ,who was in his 40's or so, I know he had a son also older than I was. when I was a young lad around 15 or so. All in Trenton New Jersey. Robert, Vincent, Richard and myself are from his 2nd marriage to Margaret.
