Keli: OK, this is weird...
I, too have Bristol connections... and it would be Very Weird if it was learned that there was a familial connection... this is regarding my mother, Phyllis Marolyn Foster (married a number of times, 4 times to be exact.) Her 2nd husband (my older sister's dad) was a Bristol.
I've just started doing a bit of research on that branch of the family, so I think it would be wonderful AND strange if somewhere in the past the family lines were crossed... oh, the genealogy/DNA would be an interesting mess!!!
I was born in Oregon... the Foster-branch lived their adult lives in the Yakima, WA area. The Bristol link was from So. Calif.
I now live in Colorado.. sorry to say that I've yet to visit the CT/NY/PA area! I've got to see the area where the Mattoons were originally from - wow - love this history!!!
Thank you for the information and connection - I hope that my other contacts in the lineage of the Mattoon/Foster/Watts/Bristol/Fleury/Heany/Pratt, etc. will help us both in our searches. When I get more information, I'll pass it on!
Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon!
Bye - Ro
