Hi Bob,

I had quite forgotten about this post to GenForum - back in July! Anyway, since then through various means, I have been able to trace my Mawdsley line back to the village of Halsall (not too far from Ormskirk) and back as far as 1750. In the process I have re-connected with a first cousin I hadn't seen since 1962 and 2 separate sets of distant cousins in Australia with whom I share a gggrandfather.
I would love to hear from you regarding your family to see if we connect. I have much info I'm happy to share if there's a link.
