Hallo Mawdsleys! We have Henry J Mawdesley marrying Elizabeth Shaw in Ormskirk on 16 December 1571. Their son Thomas Mawdesley, born 27 May 1575 married Margit Yate on 21 March 1592. Their son Hector Mawdesley married Margaret Jackson on 29 April, 1630. Their son Edward Mawdesley(born 1632) married and had a daughter Margaret Mausdesley who married Thomas Molyneaux (pronounced "Mulliner" on 27 December 1699. Their daughter Ann Molyneaux married John Cave on 12 december 1730 and started a whole line of Caves that lead to Rosemary's mother Barbara Cave who was born in Lathom, just outside Ormskirk in 1920. There are still Molyneauxs, Mawdesleys and Caves living in the Ormskirk area and you can find all the above on familysearch.com

Best wishes,

Neville and Rosemary Grenyer
