The Long Preston parish registers are not published. The original register is kept at the record office at Northallerton - however I transcribed all the Maudsley entries (1584 to 1757) a few years ago.

Lawrence was baptised at Long Preston on 29 April 1686 (not 1696), and he was buried at Clapham on 28 Dec 1754. He had 4 sisters (Ann, Jane, Grace and Esther) and 3 brothers (Christopher, Stephen, and Henry).

They were the childen of Henry Maudsley and Grace Carr.

I am not aware of any Henry Maudsley's baptised in Clapham in 1719. What is the source of your information?
