My ancestor gg-grandfather was Richard MAWDSLEY, b. Liverpool 1851. Father was George MAWDSLEY b. Halsall, 1811.
Richard married Margaret LEATHER b. 1847 in 1873. 7 children:

Ralph b. 1877
Margaret b. 1880
Caroline b. 1883
Seline E b. 1885
His wife died in 1890 and he remarried to Louisa WALKER b. 1870. 5 more children:

Harold b. 1894
John J. b. 1896
Gertrude b. 1898
Frederick b. 1900
Louisa apparently lived to be almost a hundred, outliving most if not all of her children.
