Wisconsin/Minnesota Mauer connection

I have information leading me to believe there is a Mauer family connection between the Green Bay, Wisconsin and St. Cloud or St.Paul Minnesota areas. Other surnames involved in this relationship are Odermann and Schabert. I presently have traced 4 generations of Wisconsin Mauers and 6 generations of Minnesota Mauers but cannot make a direct connection. I am glad to share this information in an attempt to solve this question.
