Dave: I would welcome any information on this line. My great-grandfather was a Samuel Mauger who I believe was decended from Heinrick thru Frederick.

Samuel b. 1840 d. 1874 is buried in Etna, Ohio as is a Frederick d. 1868 and a Rueben d. 1874. The 1850 Ohio Census lists a Frederick and Hester with a fairly large family which included Samuel and Rueben. Do any of these names ring a bell.

What area are you from? I live in Columbus, Ohio and there is another Mauger branch in Lancaster.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Susan
