Hi Dave: Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner with the Census info. but here goes.

1850 Census for Etna Township shows the following

Name Age
Frederick 62
Hester 50
Jacob 24
Sabina (or Labina) 22
Sarah 16
James 17
Rebecca 13 all above born in PA
Samuel 11 first child born in Ohio
Emeline 9
Lewis 6
Reuben 4
Caroline 2

The 1860 Census shows Frederick and Hester also
Jacob and Sabina are gone and they have 2 more children

William 4
Laura 2

After studying the information you sent me from the 1830 PA Census I am even more confused. It would appear that Frederick had an entire other family This makes some sense because records say he married Elizabeth Nagel in 1813 - one source even says they were married in OHIO!!!! The two older children were born before 1815. The boy and the girl under 5 could be Jacob and Sabina but the 6 older children evidently didn't come to Ohio with their parents OR this Frederick in Etna is not the son of Heinrick. There were 3 children under the age of 10 in 1830 but they didn't come to Ohio until around 1839 so those children would have been almost 20 so maybe they stayed in PA> I'm anxious to hear your opinion of these findings.
