I am sure that we are working on the same line but your names and dates are not in harmony with what I have. Let me give you what I think is your great-grandfathers name and the names of his children and then we can go back from there if you are sure this is your family line. I have Alfred Kemper Mawyer born 1875. He married Alice Critzer. They had 12 children as follows:
Eva Ann Mawyer b)1897
Erva Maude Mawyer b)1898
Ned Marshall Mawyer b)1899
(my grandfather)
Alfred Gene Mawyer b)1901
Lizzie G. Mawyer b)1903
Everette E. Mawyer b)1904
Helen O. Mawyer b)1906
Myrtle M Mawyer b)1908
Granville Mawyer b) 1910
Hunter Byrding Mawyer b)1912
Raymond Mawyer b)1916
Pauline J. Mawyer b)1918
As you can see the names you gave me and the names I have are to close for us not to be talking about the the same family. If it is the same then your grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. If you are convinced this is the family you are searching for let me know as I have the line back to the first Mawyers to settle in Va. I will be glad to answer any questions that I can.
