I've just discovered this page and I am wondering what sort of things the Maxner's of the world are looking for.
My name is Paul Gordon Maxner and I am the ninth generation here in Nova Scotia. The Windsor, Nova Scotia Maxner's have stayed in the area and continue to farm the same family land that we have held since the late 1790's.

John Henry Meixner then Maxner became his name when he settled in Lunenburg, N.S.

I see from the few messages posted that John V. Duncanson's article on the Maxner's of Lunenburg and Windsor has been cited.

What about the rest of the world? Where have us Maxner's spread?
