Hi, Roy.I've dug up some more Maynor info since you and I corresponded a while back, but I still don't have the Lumbee connection figured out.I do believe there may be one, though.
Do you know whether the John Maynor who married Nancy Revell was Lumbee himself, or might the connection be that he married a Lumbee, thus starting the line of Lumbee Maynors?
I've found quite a few John Maynors (by the various spellings) in my Maynor family of the 1600s and 1700s -- starting in Virginia and moving to North Carolina. All of the Maynors seemed to have lots of sons and to name them sometimes after fathers, sometimes after uncles or cousins, making it hard for us to untangle the genealogy.
What I have pretty well confirmed so far about my Maynors is on my web page:

There's a button at the bottom of that page to take you to the info in gedcom form, which might be more convenient since that includes what (very little) I know about some of the lateral branches.
Let me know if you figure out any connections!Meanwhile, I'm still hoping to retire some day and find more time for this fascinating hobby.
