Seeking information on McAninch family members who were in DeSoto County, MS from 1850 census and forward. 1860 shows Maria (?) McAninch, 50, b. TN, and children: Alpheus, 21, Erastus, 17, Laura, 16, and Taylor, 12. Husband deceased. Any help as to who the father was and where the various members of the family went after 1860 would be helpful.
