The information I have on Elizabeth Jane McAninch does not have documented proof. As sucgh it is open to specualation until proven by records, but is a place to start searching. I have Elizabeth Jane married to John Jordan Ross, with no dates on either of them. I have Elizabeth as daughter of George A. McAninch, b. 1795 Westmoreland Co., Ky, died 1794, Casey Co., Ky. George married Mary Elizabeth Ross, b. 1944 Lincoln Co., Ky. George was a son of Daniel O. McAninch, believed to be born about 1750 in Antrim, Ulster Province, Scotland, and believed to have died in 1822 in Tennessee. Hope this helps, or at least gives you a direction to search. Dick
