Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
All I know is from the book. It's 77 pages long, and a quick skimming tells me the family moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 1882. I see mention of a brother, Con. Jack was married to a woman named Genevieve. He died on November 5, 1937, at the age of 71 of cancer (throat cancer?) in Forest Hills, NY. When he retired from boxing, he was undefeated. The book has several etchings and two pictures, one when he was younger and the other near the end of his life. The bulk of the book is dedicated to his boxing history, but there's a few stories of his vaudeville years. I suppose you might find it on Ebay if not in a library. If unable to find it, I'd be happy to scan and email the pix to you, but I'm now preparing for a monthlong vacation and might not be able to get to it till at least the 2nd week of July
