Tom,

Thanks for your help. Looking at the names, I saw a number of Newmarket families. I would think that your Hanora McAuliffe Ryan would have been about 25 when she married in 1865 making her birth year 1840 (plus or minus 5 yrs). She may be the sister of Jeremiah McAuliffe who married Mary Daily (Daly) on 26 Feb 1867. Jeremiah's first son is named Florence, and may be named after his father's father so your Hanora's father might be Florence McAuliffe.
I found a John McAuliffe b.c1791 in Center Twp., Porter Co. and a Timothy McAuliffe b.c1834 in Valpariso. Both were married to Catherines. There was also a Johanna McAuliffe b.c1794 in Center Twp.
Another John McAuliffe in Union Twp. married a Mary Clifford on 29 Sep 1859. This John was born about 1825 and named his oldest son Florence. I am wondering if he might be an older brother of your Hanora.
Thanks for the additional puzzle pieces. I wish it was a little bit easier to sort these relatives out. -- John
