Looking for info on my GGuncle. Born in County Cork Ireland in 1854 to John McAuliffe & Susan Evans. Served in E Battery, 3rd Brigade, British Royal Artillery. He came to the US in 1887, preceeded by brothers Maurice (Baltimore Md), David (Emmett Idaho) & sister Frances (Emmett Idaho). John was a cousin of Jack McAuliffe the lightweight boxing champion. He eventually settled in Denver & is listed in the 1892 Denver Directory as living at 1405 Welton, occupation - coachman. He was friends with Daniel Cronin at 1355 Welton, also a coachman. Daniel supposedly married John's daughter Susan, although I don't have any info that John was ever married!
John supposedly was a part owner of the Colisium Bar at 1761 Champa St. He died in June 1898.
