Hi Susan,

Thank you kindly for replying to my request. Yes, I do have the marriage record and quite a bit of information on the White family from Perth, Ontario, Canada.

James McAuliffe and Mary Ann White moved to the U.S. and I've not been able to find anything further on them, except for one census record, 1910 in Illinois.

I'm trying to connect James McAuliffe, born in Ireland, to my McAuliffe family in Lanark Ontario. John McAuliffe and Margaret Fitzgerald married in Ireland in 1838 and moved to Ontario sometime between 1839 and 1840. That's where their second son John McAuliffe was baptized. It was this John's daughter, Mary Catherine McAuliffe who married Henry White, brother of Mary Ann White who married James McAuliffe. There is most likely a connection, James White and Mary Catherine McAuliffe were probably cousins, however finding the proof is another thing.

Thanks again Susan.
