Hi Donna, yes we are related. I didn't know that my grandfather had any brothers till I asked my mother yesterday.
My grandfather, Andrew died in the early 60's, when I was about 6, so I really didn't know the history of his family.I remember him very fondly and I was named after him and my maternal grandfather, who was also Andrew. My
mom didn't know that my father had a relative named Alexander, meaning that's probably why he was named that, after his uncle, your grandfather, Alexander. I have 3 brothers, I'm the 2nd oldest, behind Kevin, 55 and the twins Brian & Donald 53, and a younger sister, Mauranne, 48. We all live In New Jersey, except Brian lives in New York state about 30 minutes away. Maura lives in Texas. My father passed away about 17 years ago & I can't think of anyone who would know about our ancestry. You could email me directly @ doctormcbain@msn.com. I would like to know about you & your family & where you live. There aren't many McBains around that I know of.
Fondly, Andrew
