My father, Lauchlan, was the grandson of Lauchlan Mcbain from Inverness. We have an old picture of the original Lauchlan Mcbain at my mother's house in Glasgow. The Mcbain branch of the family is still thriving and my great aunt Ina Mcbain is over 90 and living in Glasgow (I inherited the nose if not the name)The family moved from Inverness to Glasgow to find work. We recently named our son Ross Mcbain to continue the line here in Canada
