Ron,
My wife's ancestor, Robert Henry McCall, served as a Pvt in Company B of the 1st Missouri Cavalry, CSA. Captured and made a POW during the Battle (Siege) of Vicksburg. Was exchanged for Union POWs. Was captured again while with the 2nd Miss Cav. Took an Oath of Alligence to the United States, and went back home to his family.
