Hi Joseph, Just want to say that I do not know anything about my Mccall's except that my grandmother was an Ella Mccall born in 1876 to Elizabeth Thompson and W A Mccall in Santa Rosa County, Fl. I have searched for years for my W A Mccall. When my grandmother Ella was small, the family went to Louisiana. Elizabeth did not like it and so she and Ella came back to Fl and Elizabeth married a William Malone in 1877. I believe Ella grew up as a Malone, but when she married my grandfather Jesse Taylor Jernigan, she married him as Ella Mccall. I would love to be able to find out what happened to my Ella's Mcall family.
Also, what made me notice your name is that somehow the Hampton name is in my mother line also as her name was Pauline Hampton Jernigan. I believe a lot of children's middle names were from family names back in my mother's day.
Thanks for reading my message and if you know of this Mccall from Fl/Al area please let me know. Thanks, Jenny
