I just found the Mccarrell connection in May when I received my Ggrandmother's death certificate. So I lucked out using the "1850-1900 Early Settlers of Wood County" Book. I scanned the pages about the Mccarrell's and can send them to you if you do not already have them. Your
Ggrandmother "Viola Jane" provided the information for the Mccarrell's along with a couple of other ladies - one I do not know. I actually live in Wood County and can pull the book again and look for Lacy's. Planned on going to the court house and looking through some of their records also this month (don't know how much I will find though, they had a fire in the early 1800's and the old court house burned down).
