David Clifford McCauley
David Clifford McCauley of Rolling Meadows The funeral for David Clifford "Cliff" McCauley, 92, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows, proceeding to St. Colette Church, Rolling Meadows, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the funeral home. Mr. McCauley died Thursday, June 12, 2008. Mr. McCauley was a World War II Army veteran and had been employed by Illinois Bell for 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Arlington Heights VFW Post 981 and a member of the Illinois Bell Telephone Pioneers and the Elgin Moose Lodge 799. He was the beloved son of the late David and Isabelle (nee Bruckheimer) McCauley; loving husband of the late Rita "Mimi" McCauley; beloved father of Rita (Mark) von Schaumburg and Mary Glass; cherished grandfather of Erin, Kevin, Lauren and Rachel; dear brother of the late John "Bud" McCauley and the late Isabelle Braddock; and fond uncle for many nieces and nephews.
