Christopher, Jane, Charles, William A., Mary F., Louis, Christopher Jr. and Jennie McCauley from Indiana
I am searching for the McCauley's also. My g-g-g-grandfather was
Christopher Columbus McCauley; he was born in Frankton Indiana on February 27, 1844 and died in Monon Indiana on October 31, 1895.
He married Jane Elizabeth Van Benthuysen (Born Troy NY Oct 8, 1844, died Indianapolis, IN April 13, 1914) they had 6 children,
Charles McCauley, DOB 11/09/1865 Cambridge City IN (My g-g-grandfather)
William Albert McCauley DOB 04/14/1869 also in Cambridge,
Mary Florence McCauley DOB 04/27/1872 Cambridge IN,
Louis McCauley DOB 06/23/1873 Died-August 1874,
Christopher Columbus McCauley Jr. DOB 03/18/1878 Indianapolis IN
Jennie Elizabeth McCauley DOB 02/24/1881. Jennie married Arthur Austin
10/29/1901, they had a daughter, Eleanor Austin who married Elmer Goodwin.
I am looking for Christopher Columbus McCauley Sr. parents. I have been told his
Fathers name was Samuel and his Mother was Mary Ann (Sims) McCauley but I am
not sure. I figure that he was born sometime around the 1800-1830? I do not know
where they were born or where they died. Any information you may be willing to share
